Indie Games TRS is divided into two blocks of activities plus a small concert.
Talks (morning activities):
In the Auditorium TR1 of the ESEIAAT (Polytechnic University of Catalonia), three talks will be held, moderated by Eduardo de la Iglesia, featuring seven speakers specialized in music and design for indie video games. The main objective of the activity is to demonstrate how music is approached in indie video games from both a creative and business perspective. It will also serve as a source of inspiration for those who are not well acquainted with this business area or are considering starting their own idea.
These talks will be divided into the following themes:
– Composing music for video games, with Carlos Viola (The Game Kitchen), from 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
– Sound as a key element of video games, with Norman Benet (Gatera Studio), Raquel García Cabañas (I Love Media), and Victor Pedreño (Grimorio of Games), from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM.
– Live concert by Victor Mame, from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM.
– Creating sound universes: sound design and voice acting in indie video games, with Sara López (Sara López Productions), Ramón Solé (Cubus Games), and Alberto Pereira (Pinknoise), from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
– Round Table: What do I need to know to dedicate myself to making music for video games?, with Eduardo de la Iglesia, Aleix Ramon, and Raquel García Cabañas, from 1:45 PM to 3:00 PM.
Workshops (afternoon activities):
In the afternoon, at the CITM (Polytechnic University of Catalonia), two workshops will be held featuring two speakers specialized in creating sounds with foley and in using specialized tools for recent and recognized titles.
